Jewelry Care

Please store your jewelry in the airtight plastic bag it is shipped in to prevent tarnishing and scratching.
Make sure jewelry is completely dry before storing it, as moisture will accelerate tarnishing. Jewelry should not be stored in the bathroom.

Clean gold or silver pieces by dipping in a solution of warm soapy water and rubbing gently. I like to use Woolite®, especially for pieces with pearls. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. I do not recommend commercial cleaning solutions.
A polishing cloth will de-tarnish silver and enhance the shine of polished gold. A small polishing cloth will be included in your order of high polished pieces. Please be gentle to avoid eroding the texture.
Never use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean items with 24K Keum boo overlay as this can cause damage.

Avoid bathing, applying hand lotion or washing your hands while wearing jewelry.
It’s best to remove jewelry before doing anything high-impact with your hands, such as gardening.
Please do not use polishing cloths or any jewelry cleaners on oxidized silver as you will remove some of the blackening. Blackened silver can be re-oxidized. Please contact me if you need help with this.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while sleeping.
Avoid swimming while wearing your jewelry, both in the ocean and in swimming pools and hot tubs.
